A ladybug can eat up to 5,000 aphids over its lifetime. Ladybugs are your friend. Invite her into your vegetable garden by planting:

🐞Dill: Ladybugs are attracted to dill, especially when it starts to flower. The tiny flowers provide a good source of pollen and nectar for adult ladybugs.
🐞Calendula: Calendula flowers provide pollen and nectar for ladybugs and other beneficial insects. Plus, their bright colors add beauty to the garden.
🐞Sweet Alyssum: This low-growing flowering plant is a favorite of ladybugs. Its tiny white, pink, or purple flowers produce a sweet fragrance that attracts these beneficial insects.
