Discovered my pineapple plants are blooming and should have a harvest in a month or so. So easy to grow. Cut the top of your pineapple, remove the remaining fleshy fruit and some of the minor bottom leaves, then stick in the ground. You should have fruit the next year.

Installation follow up.

It’s been 3-4 years since we landscaped this home in New Iberia, LA. The owner has always been so gracious and giving with her kind words. We do a spring cleaning every year and plant her spring/summer flowers. She is always so happy with the design, installation, and maintenance we’ve done, and I love how she shares pictures with me to let me share in her joy. She calls me every so often to help her diagnose plant issues, which we gladly help her at no charge. I love seeing my past work and knowing I have happy clients. Chinese Fringe (Chionanthus retusus)

I hear a lot of talk about this tree every spring. Besides the big floral show, the foliage is also great for this 15-20’ deciduous tree. Not a lot of small trees to choose from for landscape designs, but this one is a keeper in my book.
