🗓️Chastant Brothers is thrilled to announce our participation in the 30th annual Festival des Fleurs de Louisiane ! Join us on April 6th, 2024, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at Blackham Coliseum.

🌱This event is not just a celebration of spring's arrival, but also a fundraiser for UL Lafayette's Ira Nelson Horticulture Center, supporting horticultural enhancement in Acadiana. With over 100 gardening-related vendors, informative displays, and activities hosted by local gardening societies, there's something for everyone.

🍧There will be food trucks, snow cones, and coffee, so bring the family and make a day of it! we can't wait to see you there!

With warmer days ahead, it's prime time to plant these veggies! Remember, they thrive in well-drained soil and need regular watering, especially in hot, dry weather. Plant them in a sunny spot with good drainage for a bountiful harvest. In South Louisiana, the best time to plant pepper plants is typically in late March through early April, after the threat of frost has passed and the soil has warmed up sufficiently.
