My latest project in West Lafayette. I call this my French country summer cottage. I took all the wood paneling, book cases, trim and ceiling beams and lightly sanded them, I then used a deglosser to remove then sheen. I caulked all the seams of each board on every edge. I used a high quality bonding primer on all the wood surfaces. Then I applied a coat of white to the ceilings, I painted the ceiling beams a soft green, the moldings and doors, windows were green also. The bookcases are a semi gloss urethane enamel Beige, I painted the walls a satin finish beige also.
