America's Largest "Industrial Thrift Store" ♻️
Whether you’re a builder, a business, or a DIY dreamer, our mission is simple: keep good stuff out of landfills and give it a second life. Since 2010, repurposedMATERIALS has rescued and repurposed millions of pounds of industrial surplus and salvage each year—turning “waste” into opportunity.

Photos never quite do these rolling cylinder cases justice… so we recruited one of our team members for scale. 😂

These things are BIG.

Originally built for heavy-duty industrial use, these rolling cylinder cases are sturdy, mobile, reusable, and packed with repurpose potential. Storage, props, displays, shop organization, event setups — we could think of a hundred ways to reuse them.

One person’s leftover materials became another classroom’s hands-on learning tools. 🎨♻️

A local art school picked up some tote lids we had available for free and transformed them into sensory bins for their students — and honestly, we love seeing creativity like this in action.

Repurposing doesn’t always have to mean massive projects. Sometimes it’s as simple as giving materials a second life in a space where they can inspire learning, creativity, and play.

This is exactly the kind of reuse we love to see. 💚

🌎 Happy World Environment Day 🌎

Every year, millions of usable materials are discarded simply because one company no longer needs them.

That’s where we come in.

At repurposedMATERIALS, we believe “waste” is often just material waiting for its next purpose. From reclaimed industrial products to surplus materials and unexpected oddities, we work to keep useful items out of landfills and back into the hands of people who can use them.

Some become DIY projects.
Some become farm solutions.
Some become flooring, fencing, art, furniture, or something nobody’s thought of yet.

"Repurposing" isn’t just recycling —
it’s creativity, resourcefulness, and giving materials a second life.

Thanks to everyone who chooses reuse first. ♻️

Has anyone ever done this before? Thoughts?

The idea of growing carrots in vertical PVC pipes saves space, improves soil control, reduces pests, and produces long, attractive carrots that are easy to harvest.

Someone took a stack of multicolored pallets and transformed them into a giant turtle-shaped pool setup… and we can’t stop looking at it. 🐢

Projects like this are such a fun reminder that reclaimed and repurposed materials can become something completely unexpected with enough creativity behind them.

Would you try something like this in your own backyard?

An IBC tote used as water storage — paired with a simple outdoor shower build ♻️🚿

A straightforward setup that turns a standard bulk container into a reliable water source for an off-grid style rinse station.

Nothing overcomplicated. Just smart use of what’s already available.

In honor of National Dino Day 🦖

At one park, old auto parts and scrap metal were transformed into full dinosaur statues.

Proof that in the world of industrial materials, nothing really “dies”…
it just gets rebuilt into something unexpected, creative, and a little bit prehistoric. 😎

Garage doors don’t always come in a box.

Sometimes they come from aluminum panels, insulation, and a fabrication brain that refuses to waste good material ♻️

Extreme Iron turned a mix of industrial components into a fully working garage door — and it actually makes perfect sense once you see it.
