Garden Hotline!☎️
If you notice powdery spots on your leaves, it’s likely powdery mildew. A common fungal issue that shows up during warm, humid weather. Improving airflow, watering at the base, and removing heavily affected leaves can help keep it from spreading

Here’s how I apply liquid fertilizer to my container peppers. A regular feeding schedule helps keep the plants healthy and productive during the season

Potato flowers can be a sign your plants are progressing. I remove mine because I’d rather the plant focus on growing potatoes underground.
They also aren’t the best sign it’s time to harvest. For the biggest potatoes, wait until the leaves start yellowing and dying back, usually a few weeks after flowering

Did your strawberry plants send out runners? You have 2 options:

1. Cut the runners if you want the original plant to focus on growth and berry production
2. Leave the runner attached and pin the baby plant into soil if you want a new strawberry plant. Once it has rooted, cut the runner from the mother plant

Bonus tip: apply fertilizer on a cloudy day or in the evening

Garden Hotline!☎️
Peppers can seem like one of the slowest plants in your garden. As long as your plant looks healthy, there usually isn’t a reason to worry. Peppers spend time looking like they’re doing nothing before suddenly taking off.
