It’s so easy to say “go play” or “I’ve got this”, this mama needs to remember to slow down, to enjoy every precious moment that I prayed for. How will they learn if I don’t teach them how to grow, how to be gentle to the earth, how to tend to tiny plants and learn to feed themselves without running to the grocery store. We are losing so many skills, so many crafts are being lost as technology progresses. I need to remind myself every day to slow down, teach them, raise them to love God, to cherish what we have and soak up life’s lessons always.

I have been neglecting my island but today seems to be the perfect day to put it back together. Get rid of the weeds, cut things back and add fresh mulch. Hopefully the sunshine and fresh air help to kick the butt of whatever my body is fighting right now! Sunshine is the best medicine.

Ready just in time for valentines! Hoya Sweetheart Kerri both green and variegated!!! Som of these giant green babies will be added to heart shaped trellises and bedazzled this weekend! Without trellis the green sre $15 and the variegated are $20! Supplies are limited!

Making up some pretty little bouquets for Persephone the sharing wagon with gorgeous flowers purchased from .flowermarket. I’ll be adding them to the wagon in a few minutes. If you need a little bit of sunshine today, or know someone who does please come get some and know you are loved!

I just experienced a sweet act of kindness from a stranger in a parking lot - they gave me a heartfelt note that brought tears to my eyes! It reminded me that even the smallest gestures can have a profound impact on someone's life. On the struggle bus today! I can be so mean to myself!!!! I find myself saying things to myself that I would never dream of saying to anyone! I’m trying to learn to shut it down when it stops instead of allowing it to destroy my day. If this is you too, im so sorry, let’s work on being kinder to ourselves together.
