Weatherization. Fixing HOT is easier than you think...
Hot days are back and keeping the cool inside the house is not working... If your air conditioning unit is not taking breaks or the breaks it takes are too short, it might not be your AC unit that is broken but your precious cold air is leaking. If your outside doors don't have proper weather stripping or your windows have lost the silicone on their edges, your air is getting out of the house just like air on a bad tire.

Surface Preparation.
So you want to paint your house on your own? I don't mean to discourage you, Painting is the less expensive improvement to your home, I just want to make it easier for you by helping you to prepare that surface before you start having all the fun painting.
Power washing your house is necessary, you should power wash your house before painting so that the new coat of paint will properly bond to your home exterior. Power washing is the key to ensuring a long-lasting paint job every time.
Broken, cracked or deteriorated stucco needs to be fixed as well as rotten wooden materials.
