Ok....the big reveal! 😀

2 weeks before Covid hit, we went under contract on a very large property (aka, we took a very large bite and bet the farm on a crazy idea).

Our “project” we’ve been teasing you with is a 4 unit Airbnb property. Basically, we bought a large house and are dividing it up to make 3 one bedroom units and one 2 bedroom unit. We’ve spent the past 5-1/2 months toiling away and have completed our first unit.

We’ll be showing more in the days to come, but in the meantime, here are some before and after pics of our first unit.

We did a little reveal party today with the friends and family who have seen it from the start.

I had to get creative because the stripes on the 3rd pillow cover were lined up differently than the first two. It was a MAKE IT WORK moment!

Another small project for our BIG project. I bought 3 of these wooden stools at a garage sale for $20. Some paint, polycryllic, foam and fabric and we have 3 new counter stools that fit our decor exactly for just under $60!

(In order to get exactly what I wanted for the fabric, I bought throw pillow covers online and cut them up to cover the stools. The look I wanted didn’t exist at the fabric store.)
