A Little Fireplace Magic for Fall 🔥
As summer winds down and crisp fall evenings approach, there’s no better place to gather with friends and family than around a beautiful outdoor fire.
For this North Barrington residence, Milieu had the opportunity to help bring new life to an existing backyard patio and fireplace space — creating an outdoor setting designed for lingering a little longer.

We began by repairing and adding to the existing bluestone patio before turning our attention to the fireplace. The existing structure was renovated and shortened, then beautifully clad in Eden limestone veneer for an elegant, timeless finish. A new gas line and push-button igniter add modern convenience, making this fireplace as functional as it is inviting.
And behind every transformation is a skilled crew who takes pride in bringing these spaces to life. ❤️

Our team truly enjoys being part of projects like this — from the craftsmanship and details to seeing the finished space come together. These images were captured and shared by our crew along the way, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into creating something special.

The result? A sophisticated outdoor retreat that feels right at home in every season.
