It was brought to my attention today, that a rumor is circulating that the Adopt A Planter project is a fundraiser to benefit Bloomers Nursery. I wanted to quickly dispel this untruth. We saw a need in our community, we went to the Town Council and received their blessing to take this project forward. If any of you have heard this rumor and have questions or concerns, please come speak to me at the nursery, and I will gladly go over the expenses involved with this project.

I have been overwhelmed and humbled by the response from our community to step up and be a positive for good force in our community!! Thanks to so many wonderful citizens, our town will be something to be proud of this summer!!

I literally could not be any happier about this current order!! I have searched and searched to find a good clematis supplier and I’m so happy I landed on this company. These sweet selections will be $13.95 … and they are some very sweet selections!!

Well just as predicted, our weather took a turn for cold the last few days. This is why we wait as long as possible to bring our trees,shrubs,perennials,roses
These plants will all have very fragile growth emerging and our temperatures in the teens can burn and damage fragile new growth. All of this said, our big shipment will arrive sometime the last week of April. I will post more exact time frames as we approach the week and make sure we are all on the right track with our trucking company! A few other things are in the works here at Bloomers! We are planning our classes for our May calendar, and as soon as I can solidify my plans, it will be posted!! We are planning a refill class for those folks who purchased porch pots at Christmas. My ideas are evolving on this, spring is hectic and crazy and we want to accommodate as many folks as possible!! We are planning a fun “plant bingo” and also a colonial mini garden in honor of our country’s 250th celebration!! Stay tuned for times and dates !! If you haven’t heard, we are spearheading a project to get our town looking festive and welcoming with the “adopt a planter” project. We still have planters up for adoption and if you have any questions, please feel free to call🌷🌷🌷
