The formal dining room.

For some families, it's used all the time. For others? It hosts Thanksgiving dinner and spends the rest of the year waiting patiently for its next big moment.

One thing we see often in 90s homes is a dining room that's much larger than what the homeowners actually need, while the kitchen is working overtime trying to be the gathering space, homework station, entertaining hub, and everything in between.

It's one of the reasons so many kitchen remodels end up being less about finishes and more about rethinking how the space is used.

Funny how shifting a few walls can completely change how a home feels!

Named after the soft, calming shade that now graces the walls, this Mendota Heights bathroom remodel was designed to bring a sense of serenity to our homeowner’s everyday routine.

One look at the before photos and you’ll see just how visually busy the space once felt. Now? Clean lines, intentional contrast, and a fresh new flow that feels both timeless and calming.

While the overall palette of black and white remained, the way those colors were reimagined completely transformed the feel of the space.
