Bauhaus was an influential German art school in the early 20th
century. It was founded by architect Walter Gropius in 1919 and
closed by the N***s in 1933. Bauhaus aimed to unify art, craft, and technology, and to make works of art accessible to all. The school is known for its distinctive, modernist style and its use of basic geometric shapes and primary colors. Bauhaus had a radical approach to design and influential on modernist architecture and art movements.
