An oldie but a goodie! Love me some ‘Ocean’

Throwback to this stunning wash stand painted in Sweet Pickins Milk Paint colors 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘆 and 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻 by The Shabby Shrub. The combination is absolutely dreamy — Ocean brings that deep, rich blue-green that feels like vintage ships on open water, while Creamy keeps it grounded and classic. Finished with Dark Oil Wax to bring out the richness of both colors. Pure perfection.

A gift of country garden ranunculus being arranged in the perfect vase from The Shabby Shrub. It is important to take quiet moments to appreciate the sweetness and beauty in our world. Happiness does not come from vast wealth, bling, and an image we create for society. Of course, having bills paid, shelter, and food are basic life needs. But…true gratifying happiness comes from losing yourself in something you truly enjoy. Indulging your mind. Wonderful people passionately creating beauty…this is happiness. Thank you to my sweet friend who derives happiness from hard work, gardening by the sea, and making little seeds blossom into perfection 🌸 I needed these moments.

Hands down. One of the best places to visit on Chautauqua Lake! I’ve been there every summer as long as I can remember (and that’s a lonnggggg time)

Former Cadwell’s Cheese House worker Carol Kesby stopped by last week, to see if we were still cutting the cheese properly. Carol worked for Cadwell’s part time for 40 years. Carol agrees we are still doing a fine job. We hope she will join us for our 100th year celebration next July 10th, 2027 here at Cadwells Cheese House.
