Temperatures are warming and the Daffodils have bloomed. The Iris are coming up and my yard has already been mowed for the first time this year. Spring rains have started and I am waiting hopefully for seeds to start sprouting. The birds are singing and the Bradford Pear Tree is blooming. My Creeping Jenny and Ajuga in the shade garden made it through their first Winter and the Birch trees are budding. I am tilling a new bed on the south side of the house for red Canna Lilies and White Gladiolas. I have also started looking for someone to plow a large garden space at the far end of the property. It will be my new seed beds. Since moving to the farm last year I have put in many new flower beds and will continue to work on the property this year. I have an herb bed to plant in the backyard and I may plant Black-eyed Susan's out by the pond. New projects for Spring.
