The Calathea Freddie.

The Calathea Freddie is part of the prayer plant family, it's admired for its bold patterns and like other calathea plants, it closes its leaves at night and reopens them in the morning. So cute!

They thrive in warm, humid conditions and prefer medium to bright indirect light. The sun can burn their delicate leaves, so a North or East facing window would be best for this beauty.

The best soil for Calathea plants is one that holds moisture but also drains well. Use a mix that includes peat, coco coir, and perlite, or orchid bark.

The Philodendron Billietiae showcases huge wavy green arrow-shaped leaves with unique orangish stalks; a majestic houseplant! 😍

The Billietiae a vining plant and needs plenty of space to showcase its grandness. Their stems average 1-foot in length and develop from a central vine. The vines will grow up to 5-feet long and will need a support system like a moss pole. If you don't have the space, you can always prune it regularly.

🌞The best lighting for this Philodendron is bright, indirect sunlight. Choose a south or east-facing window.

💦The Billietiae does not handle drought well, so make sure to keep soil moist but not soggy. Make sure to use a well-draining potting mix to help prevent soggy soil and root rot.

Overall, this one is easy to care for and a great plant for beginners or experienced collectors alike.

The Angel Wing Begonia. 😇

🌞These make great indoor plants. They like bright, indirect light. This beauty is thriving under the Eastern sunlight.

💦The Angel Wing Begonias like to be kept consistently moist; if the leaves begin to brown, you'll know they're needing watered more. They prefer warmer temperatures, so keep them away from cold or drafty places.

They prefer to be slightly pot-bound, so only repot when necessary.

The Alocasia Morocco. This beauty is prized for its distinctive appearance with slender dark leaves and veining deep red undersides.

🌞They thrive in bright indirect light, an East or North facing window would be best and rotate the plant periodically to promote even growth.

💦Proper watering is crucial for Alocasia Morocco to prevent root rot from overwatering and stress from underwatering. Keep the soil consistently moist but never waterlogged; allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out before watering thoroughly. They do prefer higher humidity levels and warmer temperatures 65-80 degrees.

The carnivorous sundew. One of my favorites! Their leaves emerge from rosettes and curl around prey. 😮

They grow in partial or full sun. They need watered frequently with distilled water or rainwater, they get their nutrients from bugs not their soil. They thrive in warm, high humidity conditions and might go dormant for the winter season.

The sundew can flower when they are happy and healthy.
