Last week at the Tenacre Foundation, we held an evening of architectural remembrance for Jeremiah Ford III; an event that was both joyous and bittersweet in that he was not there to see the community that his leadership & work had created coming together for him. We spoke of Jerry as an architect, mentor & friend. But beyond that the word that kept coming up was family. Being an architect was not just a job to Jerry, it was an integral part of his being, his raison d’etre. And when you worked with him you were fully invited to be a part of that.
Thank you Jerry!
Special thanks to AIA Central New Jersey, John Matthew Kemp, Michael Mills, Michael Farewell, and the many others who spoke and provided assistance in organizing this event.
