This little puff-ball of a dog got the royal treatment from his owners. First, a portrait by local artist Pam Miller ( ). Then, a regal gold frame from to finish the deal.

painted this house on the corner of N. Union & Jefferson Streets here in Lambertville. Anyone who’s been here through one turning of the seasons knows that the homeowner is a meticulous gardener whose flowers are not only immaculate, but also unique and coordinated to create a lasting visual impression.

brought me the painting to frame and we chose this 22k white gold closed corner moulding in an American Style from Rhonda Feinman in New York City. It is just stunning with its sheen and corner details…immaculate, unique, and coordinated just like the gardens.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas, grandmamas, aunties, and sisters out there who help raise little people!

I had no idea what I was getting myself into when we made this kid. It’s a wild ride full of joys, small and large, hard lessons, immense growth, and endless surprises.

Although I’ve been known to speak freely about the real challenges motherhood has thrown at me, I wouldn’t trade it; the beautiful, terrible, miraculous gift of motherhood is ultimately pretty awesome.

This gorgeous, sensual floral painting from the Ukraine was crafted on recycled fruit packaging and carried overseas in a crumpled state. Its loving owner carefully mounted it to board and then came to see me for a frame design consultation.

This wide gold glamorous frame from really elevated the art, giving it the forever home it deserves. I never tire of helping clients’ treasures shine just a little brighter.

This was a fun project. The client brought in a poem to be framed for their cow-themed powder room. We found a stock photo of cow hide, had it printed at .hope.photo on nice matte paper, and dry-mounted it to archival matboard to surround the piece.

We also chose a faux aged steel moulding from to complement the colors and subject matter. It came together beautifully as a unique enhancement of the writer’s work.

It was a distinct honor to frame prints for his current exhibition at .gallery which opened on Friday.

While I was working on fitting the frames, I had a strong memory emerge. The first time I ever considered becoming a picture framer was in 2007 when I accompanied Bill Wylie to visit his frame shop in anticipation of his upcoming solo show in Chelsea. I had recently finished my MFA and was in limbo about what might be next. The shop was full of sensory delights and I thought, “I would love to do this.”

Now, in my own shop, I found myself framing a gorgeous fine art photography exhibit. A wash of fulfillment came over me as I noticed the correlation. Thank you and for trusting me to handle this exceptional work. I am grateful for your support and friendship.

Sometimes a rug is too special to walk upon. Sometimes it deserves to hang on the wall as the work of art it is. This Navajo rug from Santa Fe was made with a soft, earthy color palette, subtle and calming.

We framed it in a shallow shadow box under Museum Glass to be able to both protect it from damaging UV rays and enjoy all of its detail without glare. The natural stained hardwood from (originally Garrett) picks up the color in the wool just perfectly.

Since the final season of “Stranger Things” dropped recently, my husband and I have been re-watching the entire series. So, it was a real treat when a client brought this signed print featuring to be framed.

The moody panoramic style of the work lends itself to the clean borders of a slim profile closed-corner frame from .ltd in traditional matte black finish. We floated the print to enhance the dreamy quality of the image.

Now we just have to keep it safe from those demogorgons lurking around the neighborhood…

A winter storm may be brewing outside, but it’s all sunshine in the studio with this vibrant watercolor of sailboats on the sea. The hardwood frame by features a bright yellow stain that matches the translucence and undulating patterns of the paint.

I think I’ll stay here and bask in this glow awhile longer. You’re welcome to join me in dreaming of warmer weather…I’ll be in tomorrow from 10am - 3pm.

Biggest congratulations to for creating a beautiful and cohesive body of work about water for .gallery here in Lambertville. Photography consultant and gallerist curated and expertly hung this exhibition. I cannot express my gratitude for the trust that these extraordinary women have placed in me.

If I’ve done my job right, the frames go mostly unnoticed, allowing viewers to experience the work without distraction. I encourage you to visit and see for yourself. “Water” is on view through March 21, and the gallery is open Thursdays and Fridays from 12-6pm, Sundays 12-5pm, and by appointment.
