Dixie is a vital part of the Grimm Peony Farm team and family. If you have had the pleasure of visiting the farm, you have likely met her. She is a hardworking and caring individual who is always a pleasure to be around. Now it is our turn to return the favor and offer support to her. As Dixie devotes considerable time and effort to maintaining the Asbury cemetery, ensuring it remains clean and well-maintained, The fence and gate is in need of being replaced and is very costly. If anyone is able to provide assistance, she would be deeply grateful. Donations can be made by sending to the address below.

As we take a moment to reflect on this rainy day, we would like to express our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you, from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, New York, California, Texas, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, Arizona and Alaska, for a truly unforgettable peony season. It's a rainy afternoon so we thought we'd begin to spotlight some of our seedlings from our breeding program. The future of Grimm Peony Farm. This is a short (22 inches tall to the top of the flowers) peony that blooms at the end of the peony season. The flowers are large, measuring 6-7 inches. It is also very fragrant.

Peony Farm Update 6/7/26 Monday, June 8th, marks the final day for our open gardens for peonies, which will be open by appointment only after that. It is time to regroom our gardens. 6/5/26 bloom update. We're close to the end of the season. We had rain last night that roughed up a lot of the peonies that are still blooming. There's still color in the gardens but if you're traveling a long distance to see the peonies I'd wait until next year.

We thought we'd spotlight a couple of our favorite peonies today. Bouquet Perfect and Gay Paree. Bouquet Perfect is a very fragrant mid-late season peony that stands great and looks wonderful in the landscape. Gay Paree is an American Peony Society gold medal and award of landscape merit winner. It's an outstanding landscape peony. Both of these are favorites of visitors at the farm.

6/2/26 bloom update. We had a shot of rain Sunday but the peonies are still looking fabulous. Come and take a walk through the gardens and enjoy the peonies, iris, hosta and other perennials blooming now. No charge to visit the gardens. We're open 9am to 5pm daily through the peony bloom season.
