As I said in my last post, lots of rearranging needed to be done to fit a baby in our home. Here’s what the office project entailed.

In our spare bedroom before converting it to a nursery, we had exercise equipment and our office. We moved the exercise equipment to our bedroom. The bigger problem was the office. We could only come up with one solution for our small home, move it to our dining area. We don’t use the dining room table more than a few times a year. Once the desk was moved downstairs, I was gifted a smaller filing cabinet, got a craft drawer organizer, and did a whole lot of cord management planning for our desk. We have a nice standing desk but planning was needed to make it look nice since it would be in a main area of our home now. I bought some computer & monitor mounts, a big power strip to mount to the back, and some headphone hangers. The last step was to zip tie the cords so they could be hidden as much as possible. I love how it all turned out!

Hey guys! I know I haven’t been doing any posting lately but I have been busy, I assure you. I found out I was expecting my first child so I gave up the heavy lifting for now but have been doing small projects around my house in preparation. Lots of reorganizing was needed to fit another human in our 800 sq ft house! Here are some of the projects I’ve accomplished in the nursery. I’ll be posting some general house projects in another post, stay tuned 😁

List of things in photos:

•Everything possible is labeled, just so people other than myself (my husband lol) can find anything needed without having to ask, hopefully! 🖊

• Books are color and size coordinated… thanks a lot 🌈

• Blankets are hanging on a blanket ladder, rolled up in a basket, and sheets are as well. Not pictured, breastfeeding essentials are underneath the end table in a bin 🧺

• Rechargeable devices requiring cords are all labeled and in a basket. 🔌

• I bought a side table with outlets including USB’s so things can be charged easily and are more accessible. 🔋

• Drawers are organized with dividers and bins. 🗄

This was definitely the most fun project I’ve done knowing what the end result would entail…..🐝🦉🏹💕♥️

The client had previously tried organizing with bins but they didn’t fit right in the space. I suggested using some items that I use at my house… Turntables, which are great in tight spaces/corners and clear stackable bins, which have separators. We emptied all the shelves, cleaned, purged, categorized and then tested what products would work vs which ones the client liked. This project was definitely a fun one and very worth while.

Hey All! I'm still here :) I got another job that started in March so I've been a little MIA...
However I am still organizing as well. I recently did a basement shelving project for someone that lives right down the street from me! Small world. I added some new products and reused products they already had, purged, categorized, and labeled. Next on the list for this customer is a linen closet! Stay tuned :)

DVD storage 📀... Here’s a peak at a project I did a little while ago.

I got inspired by a friend to claim a couple of my tv stand shelves back. I had dvds taking up two shelves and had rows in front of rows so it took some time to find what I was even looking for. This took about 3 hours... steps included: deciding which ones to keep, alphabetically sorting them, and then taking them out of their cases. I purchased the dvd storage case on Amazon. Definitely worth it!!!

The biggest thing here was to make the items more readily accessible. Instead of having to open up cases that had items inside and search for the right size, we made the items grab and go with labels for each size.

I had two sections for storing my wrapping supplies. One for Christmas and one for all other occasions. I discovered the wrapping tote organizer from the . I purchased two to still keep the separate themes going. You can configure them to fit different wrapping paper heights. There are sections for ribbons, tissue paper and bags as well.
Also pictured is . I discovered this last Christmas and will never use scissors to cut wrapping paper again!!

It first needed to be emptied (no picture of the before before!). Carpet was installed and walls were painted. After the paint dried, these shelving units were put up. Lastly, I went to town organizing the items needing to go into the stock room accordingly. This stock room holds the coffee station items,drinks and snacks overflow, and bathroom supplies.

This project had a big purpose... getting this room ready to share with a new sibling! So exciting and a pleasure.•••••W...

We started with the closet. The client had many antique books and a lot of clothes to store for the baby. The bins with clothes were sorted by size, the hanging shelving with bins were added for small accessories and we put all the antique books in new boxes categorized. The lighting was a great addition too!!

The client was very determined here and found most of these products on amazon. Now everything has a designated spot! She actually could fit other items in there due to the hanging door shelving to free up another space in the house.
