I’m finally making progress on my hardy fig experiment, and getting some of them in the ground today.

You should be planting perennials too!

Look for a selection of perennial herbs, Ohio natives and Chicago Hardy fig trees at the Keller Market House, now through the end of August.

* feeling especially grateful for this beautifully drained soil, even after a week of 4”+ of rain

Local folks, if you’re headed to ArtWalk on Friday night, head down S Broad St for a free mocktail from these gents at the soon-to-be Broken Glass Distillery.

You can also escape the hordes and grab a bite to eat from .and.company who will be on site with French street food.

Look for the bright yellow food truck and the yellow block building! (aka the old Bottle Cap IYKYK)

Still planting? No worries! Me, too! But I’m hoping to make some serious headway this weekend.

If you are, too, head to the Keller Market House, where I loaded up on plants.

Tomatoes & Peppers are now Buy 3, Get 1 Free!

Hours this weekend are 8:30 to 4 on Saturday and 12 to 4pm Sunday. And if you come by on Sunday, I’ll see you there!

Last Call! Annual shameless face + cat shot for the last greenhouse plant sale of the spring.

Gosh, it’s gorgeous today! How about a drive to the country to pick up some plants and then get them in the ground?

And early birds, yes, you might still catch a glimpse and a whiff of those amazing Queen of the Night flowers that bloomed last night!

Can’t make it? Never fear. Look for plants at the Keller Market House over the next few weeks as well.

Bee Balm, Wild Bergamot - Monarda fistulosa
Bee Balm, Panorama Red - Monarda didyma
Blue Wild Indigo - Baptisia australis
Cup Plant - Silphium perfoliatum
Compass plant - Silphium laciniatum
Sweet Joe Pye W**d - Eutrochium purpureum

We'll have plant sales at the farm both Saturday & Sunday from 10am to 4pm, as well as a selection of plants at the Keller Market House.
