Hickory Town Gardens

Hickory Town Gardens We sell native plants in Lancaster County, PA ๐Ÿฆ‹ Hickory Town Gardens is a Native Plant Nursery offering services to the MidAtlantic Region.

Our mission is to educate gardeners about the important role native plants play in supporting the ecosystem. Plants feed the insects, which feed the birds, which feed larger animals, which feed humans. Without plants, the whole system will come crumbling down. But by choosing to go native, you can make a difference. You can be the safe haven for all of the pollinators and insects that depend on pl

ants to live, and it is easier than you think. Hickory Town Gardens will be there every step of the way. If you have any questions about designing your garden, how to plant, which plants to avoid, or anything else, please do not hesitate to reach out. We will be happy to answer any questions that might come up during this exciting time. Message us on Facebook or email us at [email protected]

Appreciation post! Let's take some time to appreciate the plants that bloom in the fall -- they keep your garden beautiful and they're a last minute food source for pollinators like bees and butterflies as they get ready for winter.๐Ÿ

Black-eyed Susan and Aster are beautiful native flowers that bloom late into the year. These pictures are from the Tanger Arboretum (on our Native Garden Trail!) from a few weeks ago.
