Pull up a chair. 🤍 In this most recent project on the Bay, we loved creating a kitchen that brings everyone in, a dining room that keeps them there, a game table for the “one more round” that turns into three, and a living room for when it’s time to relax and enjoy those water views. Summer may have come to a close, but this breezy, coastal retreat keeps the season going all year long.

When the first floor on this client’s home was done years ago, the primary bathroom needed to follow suit. We kept the original layout, skipped the renovation, and focused on elevating what was already there. The goal? A space that feels like it was always meant to be part of the whole design 🤍

Before anything is built, we show our clients exactly what’s coming. These flat lays and concept boards are how we deliver the vision: every material, finish, and detail laid out so they can see the full picture before the first tile is set.

Marble was the dream, but easy upkeep was non-negotiable. So we got strategic with the material plan: marble where it makes the biggest statement, and porcelain in the high-traffic areas where practicality matters most. All the wow factor, without the upkeep stress.

This is our process: tell the story, present the vision, then make it real.

Save this for your own bathroom inspiration, and follow along as we bring this one to life ✨

Don’t be afraid to go bold. Wallpaper brings color, pattern, and personality to any space - turning an ordinary room into something memorable. Choose a print you love and let your walls make a statement!

We came home from France overflowing with inspiration. The colors, the architecture, the textures, the patterns: all of it is already finding its way into our work back home.

Travel has such a way of widening our design lens, and we can’t wait to bring a bit of this trip back to everything we create at Studio K. Santé! 🇫🇷

“Interior design is just picking out the pretty stuff.”

We beg to differ. 😉

When you see a pretty picture of a finished space (which, let’s be honest, is one of the best parts), we see everything that went into creating it.

The countless decisions. The thoughtful details. The layers of materials, finishes, colors, proportions, function, and flow. The problem-solving, revisions, and very specific details that may never make it into the final photo - but make all the difference in the finished space.

The “wow” factor doesn’t happen by accident - it’s all in the details. ✨

It’s been quite the busy summer! Between pool days and slow summer mornings, there’s no better way to spend time than working on beautiful projects like this one down on the Chesapeake. More to come!

A little look inside our studio 👋🏻 We love this creative space where ideas are shared, collaborations come to life, and inspiration is in every corner!

From the first concept sketch to the moment we hang the last piece of art, there’s a whole world of process behind what’s seen in the final reveal of a design project. Interior design is so much more than selecting beautiful finishes - though we won’t pretend that part isn’t our favorite 😉

It’s sourcing, coordinating, problem-solving, and obsessing over every detail so our clients never have to. Here’s a peek behind the curtain at what a full-service project actually looks like with Studio K.
