Final update on this stair tread and rail cap build. These treads are a butcherblock style made with solid white oak stained to a dark wanut color and have recessed led underlighting.
The rails are steel and the cap is an inhouse custom milled profile using white oak, stained as well, and has a dado on the underside for the recessed led lighting.

shown 1983 original form to make what I
deem as a pretty cool bedroom, I
definitely never had anything near this
growing up. Love it or hate it, it's been a

Just installed high gloss waterfall bar
made with solid Ash. Finished with Sherwin Williams Sher-wood dye stain in black magic color and topped with SW water white conversion varnish.
