We are super excited for our upcoming collab on Lansing Day this year, but we need your help!

At the moment, we need 20-30 WIDE mouth, quart mason jars, preferably with lids. Jars need to be in good condition without cracks or chips.

You can drop off your jars at the shop during normal business hours Thursday - Sunday from 10am to 5pm (note we will be closed Thursday 9/10).

We can't wait to share more about this project in the lead up to Lansing Day! Be sure to mark your calendars for September 26th, cause you'll definitely want to be in Lansing, Y'all.

Y’all, I got in my car and it said 120 degrees…

We’re ignoring that here at the shop and have spent the ENTIRE week resetting the shop and manifesting cooler weather. Come by for a visit, snag some one of a kind pieces, and help us send this hot and humid weather on its way.

We’re here all weekend, plus 10-2 on Monday. Can’t wait to see you!

We've been working hard this week to bring out all our fall goodies before you head into town (or have some time off from work) this holiday weekend! Stay tuned for a preview of what we've been up to, or better yet, come by for a visit.

Just a heads up, we'll be open a few hours on Monday and closed Thursday of next week, regular hours resume on Friday.

Quite often I get asked how we find/pick our artists here at the shop. Sometimes artists find us and sometimes we find them…

While doom scrolling (a habit I so desperately want to break) I came across Ruth Reed and instantly knew her work belonged here at The Squirrel and Nut LLC. Sometimes imposter syndrome gets the best of me and I chicken out on reaching out to artists. Over the last 3.5 years, I’ve learned that fear serves no one, so I reached out to Ruth and was elated when her response was “Yes!”

At the moment we have a few framed prints to share with you. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

This Sunday’s Crafternoon was a reminder of why we do this every week. The sound of laughter, sharing of handmade craft, and yummy banana bread filled the shop for two hours.

This group of ladies is something else and we hope you’ll join us next week. Even if you don’t have a craft to work on, just coming for the community and laughter is a-ok!
