After making every single choice for the new master bathroom renovation, from tiles to tub, vanity to lighting, wall design to window treatments, this designer is stumped.

The very last choice to make is mirrors for over the vanity. I just can't decide. So, I'd like some input, please. Pictures of the vanity, lights and faucets included for reference. Thanks!

Nick's bedroom redecorating project is now complete. Stencil from Royal Design Studio Stencils/Modello Designs, a FABULOUS FB find at of Rue Designs (dresser), inexpensive side tables from Hobby Lobby and a solid wood panel headboard on the side of the road on trash day. We splurged on another Tempur Pedic so that when he comes home he'll still be comfy (and maybe want to stay longer?).

As promised, daytime pix of Elyse's "Gap Year" bedroom makeover.

This sweet girl has had to make some pretty tough grown-up decisions over the last couple of months. With her dream school postponed until next fall, she'll be starting her gap year schedule next week (she would've started classes at SCAD on Monday and we'd have been headed to Savannah tomorrow 😥). Last month she pointed out that she's had the same room decor since we moved in 8 years ago. She was 10 1/2. She requested a more grown-up room to spend the next year in. It was the *least* I could do for her.

With some help from Amazon, BB&B, Home Depot, Sherwin Williams, Luke Usera (for moving the fridge) and Greg Butts for the bridge shelf ( Patricia A HIllock Nee) I think we made something pretty awesome. And we also have some dorm room inspiration for next fall.

Here's to making lemonade out of lemons.

OK 2020 Peeps! This is a BIG one!! We are partnering with Zeck Ford and their Ford Drive 4 Your School fundraiser!!! On Wednesday, October 2nd during the Homecoming Street Fair, the folks from Zeck Ford will have several cars on campus to 'test drive'. When you sign up (see the link below) you are pre-registered to drive! For every person who drives - up to 300 folks - we earn $20!!! That's potentially $6,000!!! And all you have to do is drive around the parking lot!!! You must be 18 years old and have a valid driver's license to drive. Only one registration per address will count (so four people from one family living at the same address won't cut it), so that means we need to spread the word!!! You can also sign up the night of the event. And don't worry - there's a box to opt out of promotional emails if you don't want to get them from Ford. Sometimes, it's just not in the budget to scratch a big decorating itch (like when you've bought gutters for the whole house). But, paint is cheap and a little bit can make a big difference in how you feel about a room. Just changing two walls - from Humble Gold to Red Theatre on the fireplace wall and Mother Nature on the window wall gives this place a fresh, new look. And dusting. Dusting helps too! 😂
