Ever wanted to try doing an acrylic paint pour painting? We would love to have you attend one of our Pour classes. Please check our events calendar. Classes run about 2 hours and we teach you how to “pour” so that you can do again and again. Every painting will be unique. See examples of our paintings. Knitters and crocheters, are you tired of watching your yarn ball roll across the floor getting dusty or becoming a play toy for your pets? Friends and families of knitters and crocheters, looking for a unique gift idea? A one-of-a-kind yarn bowl hand painted by you is the answer to both questions! Join us for an event by The Painted Pot at C Quence Farms for a yarn bowl or travel coffee mug painting workshop. You can sign up for both pieces if you would like! This workshop is for everyone - artistic and artistically challenged! We will have clip art, stencils, special glazes and techniques galore to assist you in creating a special bowl and/or mug. Let’s make it a party - feel free to bring snacks and beverages (adult and soft.) Call C Quence Farms, LLC today to reserve your spot -space is limited, 247-652-8255. Cost: $50 for large yarn bowl and $40 for travel mug with lid. Guided instruction will be provided and completed pieces will be delivered back to C Quence Farms two weeks after the workshop. You can copy the samples that will be brought to the event for inspiration or feel free to look at Pinterest or any other crafting website for inspiration!
Workshop will be held on Saturday, August 18th, 2018, 9am-noon. Cash will be due no later than the start of the workshop.

The store at C Quence Farms has been open for a few weeks now. Our blooms are almost done. It’s been a beautiful bloom.

This hot weather has slowed us in completing the barn/store but it is pushing the lavender. Hope you’ll stop by and cut your own lavender even without the store opening. We will be here Saturdays 10am-6pm and Sunday’s noon-5pm. Please connect if you are looking for special times. We will have our special events posted soon.

Mudding on the drywall in barn/store almost done. Mrs Robin’s family doing well even with the construction right inside the window closest to her. Made a Double Chocolate Lavender Biscotti last night. Lavender plants starting to look like they are getting ready to bloom. Another week should see more progress everywhere. Stay tuned. 🌷

Finished mulching the lavender labyrinth in front of where our store will be. Yep, the rain couldn’t stop the mulch from going down. The lavender continues to grow. Bloom may be a little later than last year but will keep you posted. Hope to see you when we’re blooming.

It’s been a little challenging due to weather, mud, wind and a very helpful Golden Retriever to finish the planting of the lavender labyrinth located in front of the soon to open store. We’ll have the rest of the mulch/stone down soon, weather permitting. Maybe then the affection name of “the snail” will be walkable and enjoyed for years to come.

The past few days have been super busy. We finished the retaining wall on the new barn, grass seed down, (will finish planting the herbs tomorrow), added the driveway to the barn, started laying the ground cloth where the lavender labyrinth will be in front of the barn/store, bee colonies delivered so hives are happy again and more than 600 plants in the ground (only 105 left to do tomorrow). 50 Yard’s of sand, top soil and crush concrete spread. (Yes we love the tractor.)

Started the day with picking up retaining blocks and pavers so that the front of the store would look better. Finished the front, the stairs and planting Grosso Lavender before the rain started. Still building the interior of the store but we will get it done before bloom in Mid June. Stay tuned for our Grand Opening Announcements. Spring is busy time on a lavender farm.
