A Prayer for Our Community 🤍
Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. 😓

Heavenly Father, we lift up the families who are grieving the tragic loss of loved ones through the recent vehicle accidents and the devastating house fires.

Wrap Your arms around them and give them strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead. Remind them that they are not alone. Our community mourns with them, prays with them, and stands beside them.

Bring healing to broken hearts and provide for every family facing loss and uncertainty.

Bring peace where there is devastation.
Bring hope where there is despair.
Bring provision where there is need.
Bring healing where there is heartbreak.

And Lord, remind our entire community that in times like these, we are stronger when we stand together. Help us not only to say, “We’re praying for you,” but to become the hands and
feet that show up, help, give, listen, and love.

May every grieving family feel surrounded, not just by sorrow, but by the love of a community that refuses to let them grieve alone.

In Jesus’s mighty name we pray.
Amen. 🤍

Not a trend but “…a quiet collaboration…”

Happy Labor Day.

They didn't buy these clothes.
They baked them first.

This is America in 1939, deep in the Great Depression. Money is thin. Stores feel far away. And in Kansas, wheat mills are shipping flour in plain cotton sacks—heavy, practical, meant to be torn open and discarded.

But mothers don't toss them.

They wash the sacks. They cut the seams. They turn them into shirts, dresses, pajamas for kids who are growing faster than wallets can keep up. What was once packaging becomes protection. Warmth. Dignity.

The mills notice. Instead of plain sacks with bold logos, they start printing florals, checks, and small patterns. Softer fabric. Lighter ink. Logos placed so they can be washed out. Not as charity. As competition. Because if two bags of flour cost the same, the prettier sack goes home.

By the early 1940s, this practice has a name: feedsack fashion. Pattern companies publish guides showing how many sacks make a dress. Millions of garments are being sewn straight out of flour mills.

This wasn't a trend. It was survival with skill. Creativity under pressure. A quiet collaboration between industry and households that never shook hands, but understood each other perfectly.

No slogans. No sustainability campaigns. Just people refusing to waste what still had life left in it. Maybe we've forgotten what that kind of resourcefulness actually looks like.

Seeing this Magnolia journal brought back a memory of a comment someone once made to me: “You’re a Gaines wannabe.”

At the time, the remark was meant to diminish me. But honestly, I’ve come to see it differently.

I’m not a wannabe. I’m inspired. There’s a difference.

I look for inspiration everywhere. And yes, I admire the Gaines family and the way they transform spaces. But our work isn’t the same.

They renovate homes and properties.
I help people reclaim theirs.

I work with people who are overwhelmed by clutter and sometimes don’t even know where to begin. I help them declutter until they can see their floors again. 😂

I help them clean, reorganize, refresh, and redecorate spaces that once felt hopeless. I help my clients transform their homes into spaces they can actually breathe in, live in, and be proud of.

And somewhere along the way, those projects often become mini makeovers. ✨

So yes, I look to the Gaines family (and many others) for inspiration.

If that makes me a “wannabe,” then I’ll gladly be one. You know why?

Because I’d rather be a wannabe who is inspired enough to create, compassionate enough to serve, and determined enough to help people reclaim their spaces than someone who never cared about their community at all.

At the end of the day, I’m not trying to be the Gaines family.

I’m simply trying to be the best version of The Ceaseless Brand and Ceaseless Decor that I can be. 😁😉🤎🏡✨

📣 HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS,
Don’t forget to collect the promised notebooks for your school.

Special shout out to Madison De Los Santos ‘s mother who made the drive from Zapata, Texas!

Our neighboring city showed up to provide for their students. If that isn’t passion and dedication, then what is?

I’m curious, which high school has the most school spirit? Is your highschool the best?

Tell us why you love your school, your teachers, your coaches, your principal, etc.

Who doesn’t want to save time in the classroom? Set up a magnetic calendar! It’s super efficient and easy. Watch me do it. Try it. Thank me later. Classroom jobs a thing in your class? Your students can take this task on with such ease. Your TA will never mind lending you a hand here. Your colleagues will want to copy you once they see how fast you update without funtak, tape, or staples. Most importantly, your calendar will remain in excellent condition for years to come. 😊 I hope the start of your new school year was exciting! Wishing you all a fabulous, joyful, successful, and immensely blessed year. 🙏🏼 Be reminded that God will never forsake us nor will he ever let the enemy’s weapon prosper. You’ve got this. 😉 And lastly, as I always say, “ Signing out is your girl Claire reminding you that when life gets tough cry if you must, but quit….don’t you dare. Love you.
