Are you down to one key or fob left for your vehicle???
You might want to get a second one before you loose the only one left. It could cost you 2 to 3 times more to replace it when you do depending on who you call.

Beware of the scammers!!!!
I'd say they're at it once again but they never stopped. They have just recently posted up shop in my area (Largo) and are taking advantage of everyone and anyone they can. One of their shops is a bogus address and Google is allowing for them to advertise there which happens to be a florist shop. Please do your research before you hire any locksmith or any kind of contractor to see who will be coming to assist you. A customer called yesterday for me to come down and fix a lock on his door. He said he had another locksmith just leave and charged him $300 to pull a key out of his door lock cylinder. That is ridiculous and uncalled for. Also most of their reviews are bogus as well. Software generated 5 stars. Lol. We legit locksmith know them well but to the consumer you are unaware to the situation you may find yourself in.
Stay alert and do your research.

Corrosion could be your main problem if you're having trouble turning your key and getting the lid open. Here are a few pictures of what corrosion can do. I would highly recommend to get your gas cap rebuilt when you start to notice the first sign of opening troubles
