Yesterday I was fortunate enough to recieve a Citizen Merit Award from The Waupaca County Sheriffs Office and The Waupaca County SWAT Team, with a great friend and another small business owner.
It was truly an honor to be recognized, but no bigger gratification than to be able to support our local service members in their time of need.

As Sheriff, I had the honor of presenting two Citizen Merit Awards this morning during the County Board meeting.
Matt Grunwald of Waupaca Machine and Repair and Jon Cwik of Chippers Tree Service were recognized for their exceptional actions that helped our SWAT team by fabricating an extension on our MRAP’s hydraulic operated ram. This ultimately allowed our SWAT team the ability to accomplish their goal in assisting Portage County.
Their skill sets, selflessness and willingness to help our community truly represent the best of our County, and it was a privilege to recognize their actions publicly.
Congratulations to both of these outstanding citizens-and thank you for making a difference!

Lots of customers ponder what to do with thier landscaping after loosing a tree. We say "why not plant a new one." We thrive to support local businesses and work with a local transplanter; if you're interested just ask.

In Honor of National Women's day, lets have you meet the Woman behind the scenes; Jayme.
As a family owned and operated business Jayme owns 50% of the company. We find equality in our business and in our home very important to us. Although Jaymes main role is at home raising our family, she also does all of the bookkeeping, drives equipment to/from jobsites, drives School Bus and occasionally operates the woodchipper!
Here's to the incredible women who continue to break barriers, inspire change, and shape the world around them. Happy International Women's Day!
