Bare wood might look ready for paint⌠but if you skip steps, itâll show real quick đ
đ¨
Painting bare wood isnât just âgrab a brush and goââit needs the right prep to make it last and look clean.
Hereâs how we do it đ
**1. Sand it down**
Smooth out the surface and open up the wood so it can actually accept primer and paint.
**2. Clean it**
Dust, dirt, or oils will mess up the finishâso we wipe everything down before moving forward.
**3. Prime it (this is key)**
Bare wood soaks up paint unevenly. We use a good primer to:
⢠Seal the surface
⢠Prevent blotchy spots
⢠Help paint stick properly
**4. Then we paint**
Now the paint goes on smooth, even, and actually lasts. đ
Why it matters:
Skip priming and youâll get flashing, uneven color, and a finish that wonât hold up over time.
Do it right, and that wood looks clean, sealed, and professional.
