I have been in the handyman business since 2020. One of my first customers was a man named David Blanchard. I have worked for David for over 5 years sometimes for weeks on end. I got to know him very well, and the type of man he was. He quickly became a good friend, and if he had ever told me he could no longer afford to pay me, I would have kept working with him for free. I found out this morning that last night Mr. Blanchard passed from a heart attack. I really don't know what to say further because I don't feel that I lost a customer, I feel like I lost family. I got a chance to sit and talk with him the one of the last times I saw him, and as always, he was just making sure I was ok. He leaves behind a wife, 2 kids, and a granddaughter just born last week. I know that most of the people in this community don't know David but our little town of Radium Springs just lost one of it's best, I am truly heart broken.
