I need to make some serious pruning decisions about this Lemon tree. Normally, I'd prune it in February before the new blooms appear. Due to all the chaos, I missed my window and now there are blooms on the limbs I was going to cut. Luckily, the entire tree is covered with buds, but I still need to decide if I trim it this year anyway, sacrificing fruit on the upper branches but allowing the lemons on the lower part of the tree to be bigger and better? Or, do I just let it go wild until February 2027, pruning the 3 D's and crossing branches in the interim?

For those of you that grow lemons, what would you do and why?💚

Taking advantage of this beautiful Las Vegas weather! The high is 79 today, down from 83 yesterday. I was able to stay out until 1:30 am changing the growbag garden to the "U" bed. Hopefully, I'll finish it today.🤞💚

These are the first chicks to hatch here at the Lush Acre Homestead. I'd love some of you experienced chicken tenders to give me some insight on what s*x you think they are and why. I've watched some videos and know what they were based on tail and wing feathers at 1 week, which I know isn't completely accurate. But nothing beats experience. Thanks in advance!💚

Got the 2nd of 4 parts of the Cattle Panel trellis up in the Asian garden yesterday. Today, we will finish topping off the bed, put the irrigation back in, and get a few seeds planted. I think I'm going to wait to set up the other half of this trellis and focus on building the "U" raised bed, and then overhauling the rest of the Asian garden so we can get to planting. Once the peas start coming in on the new trellis, I might go ahead and finish building the second half of the trellis in the other bed.💚
