Mother’s Day had arrived and how fitting that we are using my mothers citrus all over this menu? We also were able to get more berries and beautiful rhubarb. Rhubarb upside down cake is our slab sliced, whole coffee cakes with almonds and strawberries, and lemon meringue our most requested pie (limited amount) Pre orders are open for 5 or more items- message us with your order and we will confirm by Thursday at the latest. Our friend from LA brought us some strawberries this week so we have gorgeous berries for our pie. Our other friend brought us rhubarb… so the pie this week is a strawberry rhubarb crumble

My mother is in town visiting and brought a plethora of citrus including buckets of Oro Blanco grapefruits to be used on our slab cake of the week- grapefruit upside down cake. The pie this week is a mesquite spiced butter crust with chocolate ganache and fig leaf Panna Cotta. Fig leaves when steeped fresh have a coconut flavor that just pairs so well with chocolate. It’s officially spring in vegas, the blooms on the fruit trees are fading and the orchard’s asparagus is beginning to pump out. We take care to source locally and we know you can taste the love. We work within the seasons using fruit and veggies at their peak or processing it and storing it away for the right moment. We are jamming our plums collected from last fall to give you a taste of summer this week on one of our croissants. Asparagus is featured grown right here in vegas on a croissant and in our whole quiche. It’s one of the last weeks of lemons as we transition out of winter and into the warmer season so don’t sleep on the lemon meringue pie.

Milk buns are back, we only do these on weeks which bring family and friends together for special meals.

Pre orders are open for 5 or more items. We’ve been reaching our capacity for pre orders usually on the same day as we post our menu. If you aren’t able to get a pre order in before they close we will have a first come first served line Saturday 8-sold.

The weather this week has been amazing. Our citrus trees are in full bloom and our stone fruit trees have fruit larger than a thumb nail. We can’t wait to showcase all the incredible fruit from Las Vegas this year. Apple galettes are on the menu this week as the whole pie with candied Meyer lemons and mesquite frangipane.
