World Water Day is today.

In honor of World Water Day, tomorrow, March 22nd, Aqwalife Foundation is hosting a fundraiser to support the implementation of a borewell and necessary filtration for the Kiganwa Village school and orphanage community in Uganda. Currently, the children and teachers are relying on inconsistent rainwater harvesting without proper treatment.

It's a shame that this is all they are addressing in the water when we also have ammonium perchlorate, hexavalent chromium (the Erin Brockovich chemical) and arsenic, as well as toxic fluoride and extreme levels of chlorine in many water supplies.
But I guess it's a start...

"Today, up to one-third of the drinking water supplies in the U.S. may contain TCE, according to the Environmental Protection Agency. But the chemical also threatens indoor air quality, as it can seep from the soil into homes through gaps in the foundation, where it is then inhaled as v***r."

Either entry point is a risk because absorbing through the pores or inhaling in the steam means it goes straight to your blood stream and isn't filtered via the liver until AFTER the fact.
