🚨 Don’t Sealcoat Your Driveway NOW! 🚨

We know you want your driveway looking fresh before winter, but sealing now — or using the wrong product — can do more harm than good.

Here’s why:

❌ Oil-based sealers are banned in Pennsylvania. They release harmful VOCs and damage the environment.

⚠️ Once you use oil base, you can never switch to asphalt emulsion again — it won’t adhere properly.

🛑 Oil-based sealers can be slippery, especially when wet.

👣 They often track onto shoes, into your house, and across garage floors.

And with temps dropping, sealcoating should never be done when it’s below 50°F within 24 hours before or after application.

✅ The right move: wait until spring for proper weather and use asphalt emulsion sealer for a durable, environmentally safe, and long-lasting finish.
