The exhibit, “Reframing Appalachia”, will hold an opening celebration on January 30th at 5:00 in the Drinko Library Atrium. Guest speakers are President Jerome Gilbert and associate Dean Dr. Kelli Johnson. The exhibit will be on display throughout the library until May. I’m excited to be included in this wonderful exhibit. Hope to see you there.

Thank you to the many people involved in the exhibit Form+Function held at Tamarack's David L. Dickerson art gallery. Thank you for the excellent food at the reception. Everything was just wonderful. I try to recycle glass bottles and jars into snowmen/women. It's a chore getting the stickers and glue off of some jars. I enjoy sewing up crazy toboggans and scarves from old wool sweaters. Every year I say I'm not doing this again and then I find it difficult to throw a jar away.

The Dogwood Festival begins Friday from 4pm.-8pm,Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday 12-4pm. This festival has been held in Huntington for many years and, I would love to see it continue for many more years. I'll be in booth 72 with my needle felted and wet felted art pieces. Hope to see you there.
