Its that time of year. We are getting a number of calls for no water.
Our recommendation is to first make sure your heater or heat lamp is working. If you don't have one put a heater in your well pit. Most out of water calls when its below 0 out are due to frozen pipes. If your water does not come back on within a day or two, then call us and we will come out and track the problem down.
Opening the well pit for any length of time in sub zero temperature will only cause more damage. In most cases we don't want to touch anything with water until the temp is up above 20, preferably above 32. This is to avoid causing major freeze damage.
