Lion King Japanese Iris

One of our favorite beardless irises that blooms later than most and has some of the largest blooms of all irises; does well in full sun and wet areas. Absolute showstopper.

is definitely in our Top 10 favorite shrubs. Foliage comes out orange in the spring, changes to bright yellow and lime green during the season. Nice pink flowers, bigger than most spireas. Very vibrant colors through its foliage. Stays compact 2 to 3 feet wide as tall. Super hardy and tough as nails; you could literally dribble a basketball on it, and give it a buzz cut during the season and would come back good as new.
