I haven’t been posting because I’m unable to capture how beautiful these plants really are! I wish I had room for all 1000 of them in my garden but 3-400 is all we’re going to be able to handle this year. Plants should be ready to go in a couple of weeks but we don’t recommend putting them outside in the ground til May 1 ish. I recommend preordering this year to reserve your plants. A lot of these varieties I only have 5 or less plants of. Website isn’t quite up yet so just send me a message on here with what you want or if you have any questions. Plants will be in the $4-7 range with payment due on pickup/delivery. Thanks!

I had good help for another big round of planting last week! This one, our bread and butter crop of New Mexico/Colorado chiles and serranos. A lot of these plants will go in the ground here at the farm.

Water makes life possible. It’s a often overlooked part of gardening that should warrant your fullest attention. While our first choice is using rainwater, sometimes that is not an option. Our tap water is not the greatest so I always make sure to dechlorinate it by aerating for a couple days and then add a pinch of citric acid so that the ph level is at a neutral 7.0.

Anyone else super ocd in the kitchen? All the enchiladas having the same amount of chicken makes me happy! I try and put at least 20lbs of roasted green chile in the freezer each fall so we can eat like this all year! I made this meal for my wife the night I asked her to marry me.
