Is your upstairs always hotter than your downstairs?🥵

If you feel like you’re living in two different climates, you’re not alone. Here is a few things that could be causing that:

1️⃣ Heat rises
Warm air naturally rises, so your second floor will heat throughout the day.

2️⃣Poor airflow
Your HVAC system might not be pushing enough cool air upstairs.

3️⃣Sun exposure ☀️
Upper floors take the brunt of the sun, especially in the afternoon.

4️⃣Insulation issues
If your attic or walls aren’t properly insulated, that heat is coming right inside.

5️⃣Ductwork problems
Leaks or improper design can leave your upstairs rooms under-cooled.

There is good news however... this is all fixable! Balancing airflow, sealing ducts, or we can install a mini split in the space as well.
