Here is a recent concrete installation that beautifully transformed this home's front entrance and permanently solved their wildlife intrusion issue.

These folks are actually long time clients of ours, and we have successfully completed several projects together on their house. Earlier this year they contacted me because they were noticing some wildlife activity under their front porch. Upon inspection I came to the conclusion that because of the sunken concrete sidewalk and erosion issues, it had created a perfect habitat for wildlife. I immediately told them to call our friends to deal with the uninvited guests. Once they completed the trapping sequence, we were able to come and install a more effective concrete blockade. Since we are we did it with an artful flare!

We did our best to match the limestone facade on the exterior of their home, and put in a beautiful stamped walkway. We designed it in a way that it wrapped around the entirety of the existing concrete porch and permanently sealed any access areas underneath. We used rebar dowels to connect the old concrete with the new installation to add continuity and stability to the projects. We raised the elevation of the sidewalk to get the front step back to a code compliance and safer for sure. Radius formwork was utilized for a more organic and appealing look, and it also flowed well with their garden beds at the front of the house!

We love projects like these, not only do we get to install artfully designed concrete but we also are fixing some other issues along the way!

This is a foundation wall replacement project that we recently completed. Our customer reached out to us last fall to come and take a look at his failing wall, and see what it would take to get things back in order.

Upon inspection it was determined that the section of wall would have to be replaced. The existing limestone foundation had some older forms of "foundation repair" a concrete buttress on the inside of the basement. This fix did not remedy the hydrostatic pressure problem, and over time the "repair" failed alongside with the remaining original wall.

To truly get this foundation in order we needed to install a new foundation wall system. The house was temporarily supported on structural shoring supports, and made it possible for us to remove the failed wall from the home and get a new one in place.

Once the old wall was removed we were able to start fresh. We added concrete footings, as the original stone foundation did not have them, so that a new wall system could be constructed. We utilize forms often for these types of projects, mainly for their versatility and also for energy efficiency! We had to work around a geothermal system that could not be disconnected and ICF makes that possible! The forms are filled with reinforced concrete, and the wall is now stronger than ever. A well done drain-tile system was added to prevent the same problem in the future. We use 4'' PVC, clean gravel cover, and a new sump system.

With all of the components we set in place, this home and foundation will be stable and viable for another 100 years!

There's a lot of so-called foundation repairs being done out there today, but most are not built to last. Here at we pride ourselves on permanent and high quality work. Spring is just around the corner, and with the recent weather...maybe it's already here? The concrete crew has been out installing new exterior concrete installations already, driveways, sidewalks, new foundations, and patios!
This is a project that we recently completed in Feb 2026, one that was booked last September. The client had removed an old worn out deck and was looking for a "low maintenance" option, and well done concrete fits that description precisely.
Here we transformed this barren backyard with a brand new concrete patio! We take a lot of care, from start to finish, with any of our projects. As you can imagine, it take quite a feat to make a project like this come to fruition. First, we have to prepare the ground by removing enough dirt to accommodate a professionally installed patio...a little more in depth that throwing some concrete on the ground.
The yard must be leveled and prepared for the subgrade, which is a combination of gravel and fines that are approx. 4-6" in depth, and leveled with a plate compactor machine. A rebar reinforcement grid is installed & suspended above the subgrade, and attached to the foundation. Plastic sheeting is hung on the house to protect from concrete splatter. This project took 40,500 pounds of wet concrete, wow! We utilize a concrete pump to get the wet material to the backyard, this assists in efficiency and safety.
Our team of professionals expertly place and finish the concrete, adding texture and style.
We use a high grade sealer to finish all outdoor applications.
"Covering our Tracks" to complete the project, by backfilling and leveling the work area and then planting grass seed and straw cover to reestablish your yard.

The weather has been favorable and we're out taking advantage! We are installing a new concrete slab on grade foundation, just down the street from our shop. This is a custom home project, that will feature our concrete work. We will place and finish the concrete slab next week, which will be a HEATED concrete floor!! We will subsequently polish this floor, after adequate curing time. The beautifully finished floors will be the feathers flooring in this new modern designed home. Stay tuned to see how it progresses.
