IT’S MOVE OUT SEASON AGAIN! Here are a few tips that I like to share each year to help transition all the moves!
1) Try to donate as much as you can before just sitting things out by the dumpster. This helps keep things out of our landfills, helps out our, but also can help out families in need.
2) Clean as much as you can! This helps all the maintenance & cleaning crews make the transition go a lot smoother for the next tenants.
3) When doing your final walkthrough, start in the far back room and look in every nook, cranny, cabinet and closet! Start high then go low. You would be surprised at how much stuff gets left behind!
4) if you haven’t already done so, please ensure that your landlords/Maintenance knows about any issues in your apartment. For example, Leakey, faucets, broken handles, broken, light fixtures, any appliances that are out of order, or anything else that might need to be replaced before the next tenant moves in.
And lastly, thank you for being a part of our great City, we wish you joy and happiness on your next endeavor! If you’re returning tenant, we welcome you back and hope you enjoy all this City has to offer.
