Kevin learned a plethora and variety of certifiable skills in roofing, carpentry, drywall, machine usage, and painting. After many hours of working hard for companies that he felt undervalued his skills and work ethic he decided to start his own company. That was the beginning of the rollercoaster ride of entrepreneurship. He succeeded in making money but failed at business. He knew he needed help in both business and life. Then he met the woman that would become his wife. LeToya was ten years his junior and full of life when he approached her. Two years and a handsome son later, they were married. For five years they struggled to get on the same page and build Kevin's business but they did manage to continue growing their family during that time. Things slowed down drastically as Kevin had to return to work and LeToya transformed into a stay-at-home parent. However, after a miscarriage and near death accident with an 18-wheeler the couple decided a move would be a fresh and much needed restart to their lives. They stayed the course on a rocky road and eventually got back on their feet. With her years of work in home management, instead of returning to the work industry LeToya and Kevin crafted a business plan for their family that incorporated their kids as well. Their children are not only employees but also board members with a small percentage of ownership. Today, MBG stands more determined then ever to succeed. They have set out to start a company that is both family owned and operated in hopes that their children (or at least some of them) will follow in their footsteps and continue to grow it into something that forever changes the financial legacy of their family for generations to come. Family is the most important thing to MBG's owners, Kevin and LeToya.
