The Gathered Kitchen was designed around one simple idea: create a kitchen that worked just as beautifully for everyday life as it did for gathering.

What began as a dated kitchen with limited prep space and an undersized island became a warm, layered space with an oversized gathering island, custom cabinetry, thoughtful storage, new flooring, and details designed specifically for the way this family lives.

Because a successful renovation isn't just about making a home prettier.

This space was designed around the way a home is really lived inā€”morning coffee, weeknight dinners, conversations around the island and plenty of room for everyone to gather.

From the warm wood tones and soft cabinetry to the oversized island, layered textures and thoughtful storage, every detail was chosen to make this kitchen feel elevated and completely livable.

One of the things I love most about living and working in Bay Area Houston is the connection to the water.

There's something about the coastal light, the slower pace, and the natural textures that continually inspire the homes I design.
