Liquid applied air/weather barriers are an important part of meeting today's code requirements for energy efficient buildings.

We are huge proponents of fluid-applied air and moisture barriers for commercial buildings. Modular is the Texas distributor of TK AirMax, an Air Barrier Association of America (ABAA) evaluated and listed system that works equally well on gypsum sheathing, plywood, CMU, and AAC substrates.

We see fluid-applied air and moisture barriers on many cold-formed steel projects but would love to see more of it on wood-framed hotels, apartments, condos, and even custom homes. Building wraps and coated sheathing systems don't provide the level of protection, construction simplicity, and risk prevention that spray-applied systems deliver.
