Thank you to everyone who has been sending me wonderful cards. I still have 9 more days until retirement from TV! Here is something we have done for 27-years, a very important message. Dennis and Lela McDuffy had a horrific experience when their son Nathan McDuffie was hit by a drunk driver. Nathan died in 1995 and his father Dennis wrote a short book about the horrible five days of watching his son die. He asked me if I could do something to help. And, beginning Thanksgiving 1995 I started doing a Drunk Driving Watch, which became the Drunk Driving Warning. I say it every holiday and show this graphic and I suggest, "Please help solve this problem. Don't drink and drive, get an Uber, Lyft, or have someone pick you up, in memory of Nathan McDuffie and all others who have been injured or killed in drunk driving accidents. We have one in effect for this holiday weekend. This will be my final Drunk Driving Warning on the air!
