Summer landscapes should feel joyful.

The bright pop of chartreuse against deep greens.
The flowers that seem to bloom right when you need them most.

The containers that greet you at the front door.
The layers of texture, color, and movement that make a space feel alive.

I love designing for all of it.

Not just one beautiful moment, but an entire season of beauty.

A landscape should change and unfold throughout the summer.

New blooms appear.
Colors shift.
Plants fill in.

What started as a design on paper becomes something living and growing.

That is what I love most.

Watching a space wake up and become exactly what it was designed to be.

A landscape full of life.

Most people see the finished garden.

I see this.

The beginning.

Plants waiting to find their home.
A space slowly taking shape.
The excitement of watching a vision come to life.

I love this part.

Standing in a space and imagining what it will feel like when everything fills in, blooms, and becomes exactly what it was meant to be.

The process is beautiful too.

Another season is about to come to a close! ❤️

It's hard to believe....

7 going into 8 years of Every Last Detail!!

Blessed to be doing what I love!

Ready to quit at least once a week! 😂

I picked a hard business! Mother Nature makes so many decisions for us!!

But, as I chat with clients along the way...
One thing has stuck with me.

We are bringing something amazing to our clients!

I had a goal when I started, and it was just that!

My vision has evolved over the years.....

What is coming next.

You hear me talk a lot about outdoor spaces.

I believe they can be so much more if they are aligned right, with the client.

What if your reset button was right outside your door?

What if you didn't have to hop on a plane to escape?

What if some of your favorite things about vacation was right outside your door?

What if the style on the inside of your home matched the style on the outside?

Those are just a few of the things we discuss when we talk about transforming the outside of your home.

It's not just about plants.
It's not just a patio space.

It's MORE!!!

I am looking forward to those summer days.

This year, my focus is the back porch.

The front is beautiful, peaceful, and a great retreat early in the morning.

I decided to turn the back deck into a space where I can enjoy my plants.
A place to pot up a gorgoeus display.
My potting station is right out the door.
My fresh vegetables and herbs are right out the door.
My table.
A place to set. To work. To eat.
To enjoy other company.
The view. My lake is right here. I enjoy the beauty it brings to the space.

I also started my perennial shade garden a couple years ago and it is starting to thrive.
I enjoy taking that in as well.

And....a water feature. 😉

This one is more art, than just water flowing.
I'm excited to share!

This summer I plan to enjoy meals and entertaining in this space!!

I hope you all take some time to think about spaces at your home that will bring more to your daily life.
Spaces that will restore you.
A place to sit.
A place to stop. A place where your mind can feel at peace.
Our qorkd is busy and it is so important to make sure we have a few of those 5 minutes to stop during our days. 😉

The little things matter. 🤍

When you own a small business, it’s easy to focus on the big things… the projects, the installs, the beautiful finished spaces.

But honestly?

Some of the things that mean the most aren’t the projects themselves.

It’s the message that says, “I gave your name to a friend.”

It’s seeing a client share our work because they were excited about it.

It’s hearing, “We’ll be calling you again.”

Those little moments remind me that what we do matters.

Not just because we’re planting flowers or designing landscapes…

But because we’re creating spaces people truly enjoy living in.

To every client who has shared our page, referred a friend, tagged us in a post, or trusted us with another project…

What if I told you these pots changed absolutely nothing… and everything at the same time? 😉

The walkway is the same.
The stone is the same.
The house is the same.

But suddenly your eye knows where to look.

The entrance feels welcoming.
The space feels alive.
The home feels like it’s saying, “come on in.”

Sometimes it isn’t about making huge changes.
Sometimes it’s about adding the right layer in the right place.

That’s what I love most about seasonal containers.

They have a way of turning a beautiful house into a home that feels loved.

And honestly… I smile every time I pull into a driveway and see them doing exactly that.

I see what it will become. 😊

The finished beds.
The mature plants.
The view from the porch.
The feeling when you come home.

Sometimes you just have to trust the process.

The transformation is worth it.

There is MORE soil!!!

The plants are happy!!!!

Do NOT forget to fertilize your heavy bloomers OFTEN!
