20th Anniversary Give-Away
Schreiber Lawn and Landscape is celebrating its 20th year in business this spring! We are thrilled about what this year holds for both us and our valued clients.
Our Story
The business was founded by my father, Ralph, and me. Ralph attended Delaware Valley College, where he earned a degree in Science and Ornamental Horticulture. He then served as the manager at Royer’s Garden Center for many years. When I was born, he transitioned to working as a caretaker for a private estate. As a child, I would assist him at this estate during summers and on Saturdays. During high school, I worked at Fairview Golf Course and Stoney Bridge Garden Center. After graduating in 2005, I spent six months working on a harvest crew in the Midwest. When I returned, my father’s employer decided to sell and relocate. This transition presented us with an opportunity, as we were offered equipment to start our own company.
Growth and Expansion
We began by offering mowing and mulching services at a few locations. Soon after, my father started creating impressive hand drawings for new landscape installations. By 2008, we were installing hardscapes. As the company continued to grow, we expanded our services to include fertilizer applications and eventually began offering snow removal.
Leadership and Our Team
In October 2019, Ralph was involved in a mowing accident and passed away. I stepped into the leadership role, supported by my family and friends. Nathaneal Hostetter, who was an employee at the time, helped me learn the administrative aspects of the business, including accounting and design practices. Even though Nate has moved on to another position, he remains involved, contributing to our outstanding 3D designs. Bailey Brown, another dedicated employee, has been with me since then as well and has worked in both the Landscape and Hardscape divisions. He now serves as our Landscape and Mowing foreman and is often the person you see mowing lawns or mulching beds. Alongside Bailey, our full-time employee Dyheim Sensenig has been with us for a couple of seasons, continually adapting to our work and proving himself as a leader. We are currently seeking one or two additional team members for the upcoming season. If you are interested or know someone who may be, please contact us!
