Corms anyone?? 😆
One of my alocasia chose to get all finicky on me and unalive herself. I don’t have the best track record with Alocasia 😆 they’re challenging and I love it.

I’d set her retired pot with my other pots until it hit me that I’m sure she had corms under there!! I discovered 12 little guys! I gently chipped their hard shell off, and snuggled them down into some sphagnum moss.
I’ll cover them to keep them all moist 😝 and cozy, and set them in a windowsill!

I also replanted 2 corms that have matured into actual little plants, from sphagnum moss into some chonky soil. I brewed them under a fish bowl for several months.
Now to wait for these buggers to grow some roots.
I’ll update as I see progress! 😉

I finally sold something today I’ve been trying to sell for months, so I treated myself to my first full-sun truly tropical plant. 🌺
A Tri-Color Hibiscus! Eeeeeee!!!!! I was going for a plumeria, but they were sold out. Real shocker 😆

Two tell-tale signs that monstera cuttings may be ready for transplant:
1. Secondary roots
2. New growth shoots

I chose a slightly bigger pot than I originally thought. Monsteras like to be snug, but I was putting 4 cuttings in one big pot. So I went with the bigger. I can always downsize if they don’t seem happy.

We’ve been in Florida barely over a month, and both my Monstera Deliciosa and my Monstera Albo are throwing out new babies 🥲🥲🥲 the recovering from the move fabulously!
